Better than dial up; that's all. by cgcustomer on August 5th, 2009
CG Communications advertises "high speed internet". Well, the speed isn't so great. The service is oversold and they run out of bandwidth. Downloads abort, websites time out, updates fail, and video (such as you tube) is not possible.
The service frequently goes out. Customer communications are slow. They never answer the phone. You must leave a message; sometimes they call back. Most of the time they don't.
The service is very poor compared to the slowest DSL connection and the price, at $50 per month, is high for the service provided.
Hopefully something better will come along.
